Application Developer

Description

Liberty Solutions has a client in need of an Application Developer who, with minimal supervision, will work closely with customers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. This person will be involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. They will be responsible for developing/designing software solutions as well as modifying existing software to correct errors or adapt to new requirements. They will make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code, work on projects as assigned, maintain documentation of all activities and test results according to department policy and act as a resource to internal staff in the proper operation and access to data. They will be expected to participate in x on-call rotation. They must be fluent in web development technologies and should have experience with software development life cycle processes such as: Analysis and requirements definition Code development Integration, testing and release management Deployment/implementation Management/maintenance (version control, change control procedures, release processes, etc.) This will be fully remote, 3 months to start with the possibility of converting to a permanent position.

Senior Epic Assessment Consultant

Description

Liberty Solutions has a client in need of a Senior Epic Assessment Consultant to perform a comprehensive assessment of their current Epic EHR staff and provide a training roadmap for their internal team. As part of this engagement, the consultant will evaluate the existing structure, capabilities, and performance of the Epic staff, identifying key gaps and areas for improvement. The role also may involve developing a training plan and assisting with the upskilling of internal employees to ensure they are equipped to manage and optimize the Epic system moving forward. This will be fully remote and 3 months to start.

Epic Staff Assessment Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the current Epic EHR team, evaluating skills, capabilities, knowledge gaps, and overall team structure. Identify strengths and areas that require improvement to ensure the team is aligned with organizational needs and Epic best practices.
  • Staffing Recommendations:
  • Based on the assessment, provide recommendations for restructuring or enhancing the current Epic team. Identify key roles or skill sets that may be lacking and suggest strategies to fill these gaps.
  • Epic Training Plan Development:
  • Potentially Design and implement a comprehensive training program tailored to the needs of the internal team, considering their current level of experience and the organization’s objectives with Epic. Ensure the training plan covers both system functionality and operational workflows.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with senior leadership, IT teams, and clinical staff to ensure alignment on training objectives, staff development needs, and Epic system optimization goals. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • System Optimization and Best Practices:
  • In addition to training, assist in identifying opportunities for system optimization based on the current staff’s use of Epic. Provide guidance on Epic EHR best practices to enhance system performance, increase efficiency, and improve patient care delivery.
  • Ongoing Support and Evaluation:
  • Provide post-assessment support to ensure internal staff can effectively apply the skills learned. Conduct follow-up evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training and make adjustments as necessary.

Inpatient Coding Analyst

Description

Liberty Solutions has a client located in the Mid-Atlantic region who is looking for an Inpatient Coding Analyst. This resource must have knowledge of DRG payor methodologies: MS-DRG, APR-DRGs, ICD-10-CM & PCS coding guidelines and conventions, PSIs, HACs, and HCCs, and Medicare IPPS. In addition, the client would like candidates to have at least 3 years of straight IP coding (no Outpatient, Claims Examiner, Biller, Claims review etc…) with a CCS, CIC, RHIT or RHIA. They also would like someone who has coded for a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility. The initial contract length is 3-6 months to start, with a chance to convert to a permanent role. This role is 100% remote.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with DRG payor methodologies: MS-DRG, APR-DRGs, ICD-10-CM & PCS coding guidelines and conventions, PSIs, HACs, and HCCs, and Medicare IPPS
  • Experience in writing compliant coding queries
  • 4+ years of Inpatient Coding experience
  • Experience with Cerner and 3M-360 is a plus
  • CCS, CIC, RHIT or RHIA required
  • Experience coding for a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility
  • Professional references required
